To me, holding a wedding is about gathering your loved ones to celebrate the joy with your lifetime partner as it is an important part of a person's life. It is definitely not easy to have all your loved ones to make time out on the same day. This is where I felt that photos are the only way to revive memories and connecting hearts. For the present and future generations.

That may be part of the main reason why I have passion in photographing wedding because the important people in our lives matter. They play different roles in different parts of our lives. The ones who keep us growing and going.

Before stepping into photography industry, I was studying Chemical Engineering in Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). I had an opportunity to go for a school exchange programme in Germany for six months and managed to have free time to explore other parts in Europe. I met people with kind hearts. I explored beautiful places with interesting/rich history. But reality kicked in when my school exchanged programme ended. It was time to return to Singapore and to get myself ready into the working society.

Graduated with a Degree of Chemical Engineering, I applied for a few jobs in the oil industry. Thinking that my life is secured with stable income and lead a typical Singaporean life. Somehow, the plan changed. Something was missing. The excitement. The purpose in my life.

I took a leap of faith. Gwen Pixel Stop was established in the year of 2017.

It is tough to lead a life knowing that there will not be a fixed income. But knowing that I still get the excitement whenever I put my hands on my camera, photographing weddings, meeting new couples and hearing their love stories. I just felt right in doing it.

Every couple deserves a passionate wedding photographer to document the important part of their life. It is also important to know more about your photographer before engaging one for your wedding.

I would love to meet you to talk about how we can work together on your wedding day!
